We are pleased to announce the Halo Baseball Club 4th Annual "Halo Memorial" Baseball Tournament AUGUST 27-29, 2010 in honor of Joe Trosko #11 and Larry Poland #25. We have acquired the use of Anteater Ballpark for this event. This incredible facility serves as the home of the UC Irvine Anteaters Baseball Team.

TOURNAMENT FEES & SIGNUP

$245 per player with a minimum 11-man roster. Make your individual player payment here: Pay Link.

A $500 TEAM deposit paid here via the below Paypal button will secure your squad(s) participation and addition to the tournament schedule. Please pay your team deposit here via Paypal. The first 7 teams to make their deposits here will be added to the tournament schedule below and registrations will be closed.

We will have access to the entire facility including the covered batting and live cage, bullpens and dugouts but NOT to the clubhouse and showers. There will be an announcer and scoreboard operator in the press box. We will update this page if/when a concession stand will be open for the tournament.

Irvine Marriott 18000 Von Karman Avenue Irvine, California 92612 USA Phone: (949) 553-0100. The Marriott is 2 blocks from the John Wayne Airport and approximately 2 miles from Anteater Ballpark. Mention the code: "HBC" to receive a rate of $89 a night with free parking.

Due to the game schedule and because many of the teams are local, a traditional banquet will not be held at the stadium Saturday night. Instead we will arrange for a meet & greet at a local host sports bar with discounted food and drink tickets for those interested in mingling with the other teams. A raffle will also be held for sports gear and/or memorabilia.

GENERAL INFO, RULES & SCHEDULE

Full MSBL Rules.

Invitations will be capped at 8 teams for a full weekend of baseball. Each team will play 3 tournament games between Friday - Sunday. To get all the games in on time, games will be restricted to two hours and 30 minutes each (if an inning starts before the time limit, it can be completed). Players will use wood bats with exceptions made for females and players 60 years of age and older.
